Delta Flight Returns After Lightning Strike
Flight Safely Lands at Logan Airport

A Delta Air Lines flight from Chicago to Boston made a safe landing at Logan Airport on Saturday evening after experiencing a possible lightning strike.
Flight 2346, carrying 150 passengers and crew, departed from Chicago O'Hare International Airport at 6:30 p.m. ET. According to a statement from Delta, the aircraft encountered turbulence and a possible lightning strike approximately 30 minutes after takeoff.
The pilots turned the aircraft around and returned to Logan Airport, where it landed safely at 8:15 p.m. ET. All passengers and crew members disembarked the plane without incident.
Delta is investigating the incident and has dispatched a team to the airport to inspect the aircraft. The airline said it will provide more information as it becomes available.
