Boeing Whistleblower Found Dead in United States

Former Boeing quality manager John Barnett, who raised concerns about manufacturing practices at the company, has been found dead in the United States. Barnett's death is being investigated by the FBI, and no cause of death has yet been determined.
Barnett had previously raised concerns about the quality of Boeing's 737 MAX aircraft, which was involved in two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019. He had also alleged that Boeing had pressured him to approve flawed parts for use in the aircraft.
Boeing has denied any wrongdoing, and has said that it is cooperating with the FBI's investigation. The company has also said that it is committed to safety, and that it has made significant changes to its manufacturing processes since the 737 MAX crashes.
